Of course, ultra-statist Joe Klein is speaking about 4 year old children often in close proximity to the suspected bad guys we unilaterally assassinate via predator drone bombs in foreign countries. It is near the 4:25 mark of the video where he explicitly explains his theory that it is proper and acceptable to have deaths of 4 year olds over there, so we don’t risk some 4 year old over here dying in some hypothetical future terrorist attack.
“There is a major possibility of abuse [in drone policy/attacks] if you have the wrong people running the government…but the bottom line in the end is whose 4 year old gets killed.”
This horrific logic not only highlights the statist immorality, but also the American bipartisan belief that their side is good, and the other side is the bad/dangerous side folks should worry about.
Of course, it isn’t just millions of Americans which were upset by the Obama re-election. Pakistani drone attack survivors were understandably confused and angered that more than 50 million Americans thought he was worthy of another term. Many of them apparently seem to understand what another 50 million Romney voters did not – – that there is almost no substantial difference between Obama and Romney.
