Most people believe the Israeli and Palestianian conflict has been going on for centuries. In reality, it only began during the 20th century. This 10 minute video shows that beginning with WW1, western nations began creating, altering, and controlling various nation states in the middle east.
Attempting to stay as neutral as possible, we can note the western nations did all this for a variety of reasons (economic, political, religion,…etc), but their actions have undoubtedly led to an increase in tensions. For now, I leave it to the reader/viewer to decide if their actions meet moral or even utilitarian standards.
